Video functions that meet the needs of the most demanding creators

Recording videos on interchangeable lens cameras is now mainstream. In addition to the camera, videographers now use a variety of equipment when recording videos, such as external monitors, gimbals. This can make video equipment heavy and large. Thanks to its compact, lightweight design and high-performance image stabilization, the OM SYSTEM OM-1 clearly stands out as a small, lightweight system.
This design makes it ideal as a casual video system.

RAW video recording for advanced post-production tasks

RAW video data output to external equipment is now available, enabling advanced post-production tasks for video production pros. RAW video data can be output in a 12-bit RGB palette. In addition to the conventional HDMI monitor connection, the color correction range has also been expanded. Video is recorded in Apple ProRes RAW format on the supported external output device*. With HDMI monitor connection, video can be output at 10-bit and 8-bit YUV format. Not only can users check recorded video on an external monitor, but it is also possible to use external devices to record output images. Recorded video can be checked on the camera monitor while shooting.

OM-Log offers greater freedom over imaging expressions

OM-Log is supported for a greater level of freedom over imaging expressions thanks to color grading, which allows users to capture highlights and shadows without overexposing or underexposing shots. An LUT (Look Up Table) file for grading tasks using Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve and OM-Log400 are also available. H.265 is also available in addition to H.264.
