The TG-870 features a Self Portrait mode for easy selfie shooting. Focus is automatically adjusted on the subject and the AF illuminator brightness is automatically adjusted so that it does not affect the picture. The custom self-timer can also be displayed on the monitor.

  • 1. Face button: This can be used as a shutter release button.

Shoot with either hand

Right or left-handed shooting is possible using the face button on the front of the camera and the shutter button on the top of the camera. Playback images are automatically set to the optimal position for viewing, so you can shoot at any angle without worry.

New LCD monitor that is easy to see even under bright outdoor light

The maximum luminosity of the LCD monitor has been improved over the previous model (TG-860). It is now easy to see even under the brightness of direct sunlight.
